Online mock tests, revision and exam practice

A useful practice session starts with a clear goal: revise a concept, improve accuracy or manage your time. time2mock brings exam discovery, timed practice and answer review into one study routine. Choose an exam from the catalogue, check what its practice page offers and use your results to decide what to study next.

1. Choose an exam and topic

Start from the exam you are preparing for. On a GATE branch page, browse the listed subjects and revision notes before choosing a topic group. Check availability rather than assuming every test covers the complete syllabus.

2. Practise with a time limit

Use the test’s question count and duration to plan your pace. In the GATE player you can clear responses, revisit questions and mark them for review before submitting. Custom tests let you choose available topics and configuration.

3. Turn the report into a study plan

Compare correct, incorrect and unanswered questions. Review the explanation where provided, note the assumption or calculation you missed and revisit that subject before another attempt. Your dashboard keeps supported saved reports accessible in the same browser.

GATE preparation by engineering branch

Choose your paper to find branch-specific subjects, revision formulas, topic-group tests and previous-year sessions. Full mock cards use a 65-question, 180-minute practice format. Topic and custom tests draw from their available pools; a group with too few distinct question families is labelled rather than filled with repeated number variants.

Find your exam preparation page

Explore related exams to compare the preparation options listed for each one. The catalogue helps you find a practice page; selection and eligibility decisions should use the official notification.

Questions about online exam practice

What can I practise on time2mock?

Browse exam preparation pages for SSC, Railways, banking, GATE and other exams in the catalogue. GATE branch pages include subject revision, topic-group practice, custom tests, mock formats and previous-year paper practice. The available question pools and formats vary by exam.

How do I choose between a topic test and a full mock?

Use a topic test after revising a specific concept. Use a full mock to practise pacing, question selection and review across a larger set. Read the question count, duration and marking details before starting.

Are GATE previous-year papers the same as generated practice questions?

No. GATE previous-year practice uses the original master paper with its corresponding answer key. Original practice questions and numerical drill variants are separate resources. Select the correct year and session on your branch page.

Can I review my answers and progress?

Completed supported tests produce a report with scores, answers and available explanations. When you are logged in before starting, supported reports are saved for that learner in the browser. The dashboard provides exam filters, subject accuracy and report exports. Reports are not currently synced across devices.

Does practice replace the official exam notification or syllabus?

No. Use the relevant examination authority’s notification for eligibility, dates, application rules and the final exam pattern. time2mock is an independent practice platform, and the practice formats shown on the site are not official examination announcements.
